17% of Big Brothers Big Sisters annual budget is awarded through the competitive grant process. Big Brothers solicits and receives grants from both public and private foundations and corporate grant making entities. Special Events.
Special Events make up a full 25% of our annual budget and include:
- Bowl for Kids’ Sake, held each spring at Bowling Centers throughout Cumberland, Dauphin and Lebanon Counties
- Golf Fore Kids’ Sake, takes place in September annually and was held at Colonial Golf and Tennis Club in 2014
As many events include our Bigs and Littles enjoying the activity together, support and involvement in special events is not only a terrific way to support the Big Brothers Big Sisters mission but also provides you the opportunity to learn more about our organization and see the impact we have on children.
